Transition to the City of Sandy Springs

  Transition Task Forces

Twelve volunteer Transition Task Forces made up of more than 100 citizens researched and gathered information on the functions of the future City of Sandy Springs government.

The task forces gave reports and recommendations to the Governor's Commission for the City of Sandy Springs on matters requiring negotiation for the new city, and later directly to the newly elected city officials when they took office in December 2005.
