SSPC
HISTORY
SSPC was created by SSRI in 1999 in response to concerns
voiced by the business community regarding the lack of identity
and cohesive communication focus in Sandy Springs. SSPC served
critical functions to the business district in unincorporated Fulton
County (now the City of Sandy Springs) sandwiched between the city of Atlanta and the city of
Roswell.
SSPC strives to
make Sandy Springs a premier destination for businesses and shoppers.
The non-profit organization addresses issues that are vital to
both individual businesses and the quality of life in Sandy Springs
by supporting initiatives to improve the appearance,
function and over all economic health of the Roswell Road business
district.
Promotional and
outreach efforts include marketing programs and events to foster
communication amongst the business community such as forums to learn about
issues affecting them, to meet with elected officials and to network.
SSPC serves a
role fulfilled by no other in Sandy Springs, as a voice for the
business community with local and regional governmental bodies.
In the private sector, the association actively markets Sandy
Springs to a broader national audience via influential commercial
real estate services to attract quality business.
