Doing Business in Sandy Springs, Georgia
The City of Sandy Springs assumed some municipal services from Fulton County effective December 1, 2005 and more services January 1, 2006. As of Dec. 1, the city provides all services of the Community Development Department, which include zoning, permiting and code enforcement. During 2006, the city will also contract with the county for some services as transitions are worked out.
