Spotlight on Businesses
Local businesses are selected each month and featured on the SSPC website and announced to local newspapers and magazines. All winners are featured in Sandy Springs Living magazine.

Sandy Springs Festival
SSPC supports and promotes business involvement in the annual Sandy Springs Festival presesentd by Heritage Sandy Springs, by hosting the Business & Civic Expo.

Casual evening networking events that allow members to meet fellow SSPC members and neighbors in the business community.

Leaders & Lunch
Designed to provide access to significant local leaders. This event has hosted U.S. Congressman Tom Price, Governor Perdue, and Mr. Bernie Marcus.

Hot off the press this publication includes a printed directory of SSPC members as well as local facts, figures, events and attractions. Our membership directory is also available on-line.

 

Annual Holiday Party
SSPC members are invited to an annual holiday party! This fun, festive event takes places in early December and gives members an opportuity to catch up with old friends and meet new ones!

SSPC and SSAA maintain the community website, which promotes community information on schools, demographics, neighborhoods, civic groups, quality of life and other useful figures that are relevant to Sandy Springs.

 Business Issue Advocacy

Presence
SSPC Board members and staff have been appointed to serve on a variety of City boards and committees, and a good working relationship is shared with both City Council and City staff.

SSPC publishes a monthly e-news to promote member businesses and provide information on community issues and events.

Urban Design Committee (UDC)
SSPC's Urban Design Committee encourages land use policies that promote redevelopment. An economic & redevelopment analysis was produced in December 2005, and the committee also keeps data on all local land sales. The committee is an active advocate for the re-design of the Roswell Road/ I-285 interchange and street grid implementation.
