This project will apply the Sandy Springs Streetscape standards as defined in the Sandy Springs Zoning Overlay District to a both sides of Roswell Road from Cliftwood Drive to Hammond Drive totalling 0.417 miles.

Old sidewalks will be replaced on both sides of the state highway with a modern urban streetscape along this commercial stretch of Roswell Road. The new streetscape will consist of 9 feet wide sidewalks with an additional 2-foot strip of brickpavers and landscaping. Pedestrian lighting, crosswalks, bus shelters, street trees and associated landscaping will be installed.

The design and engineering firm of QK4 was selected in April 2003. Designs are completed and approved. Construction is pending upon the removal of utlity poles from the sidewalk area. Negotiations with the parties involved are ongoing.
