Commemorative Street Furniture Donation Program

Businesses, residents and organizations of the Sandy Springs community are encouraged to participate in the commemorative street furniture program to benefit the streetscape projects in downtown Sandy Springs. This program provides a visible opportunity for members of the community to contribute to the revitalization of Sandy Springs by purchasing street furniture to be installed in the public right-of-way for public use. Donations will be identified with a commemorative plaque in the name of the donor's choice.

Thank You Donors!

The kick-off of this program coincided with the near completion of the first of three streetscape projects on Roswell Road in 2004. Donated street furniture will be permanently installed in pairs within the 12-foot wide streetscape which includes 9 foot-wide sidewalks bordered with brick pavers on one side and street trees and landscaping on the other.

Street furniture donation packages are priced at $2500 for a bench and trash receptacle pair. Donations include a 4" X 6" bronze plaque engravable with up to 4 lines of text and 19 characters per line in honor or memory the person or organization of your choice. The cost also includes installation and maintenance. To be a street furniture donor fill out the
