2005 Design Review Board Meetings

The Sandy Springs Design Review Board (DRB) assists businesses and property owners with design and signage standards within the Sandy Springs Overlay District.

Applicants seeking permits or variances must submit applications to the DRB for review and approval before going on the Fulton County Community Zoning Board and the Fulton County Board of Commissioners for final approval.

Since its creation in October of 1998, the DRB has reviewed hundreds of sign permits and worked with numerous properties in Sandy Springs on urban design and architectural elements, making the area more attractive to customers and other businesses.

Appointed by the Fulton County Board of Commissioners for one, two or three-year terms, the seven member DRB is comprised of individuals who either live or own a business in the district.  Members are selected for their knowledge of Sandy Springs and the goals of the overlay district.

The Sandy Springs Design Review Board meets the second and fourth Tuesdays of each month at the North Fulton Service Center, 7741 Roswell Road, Conference Room 208.  The meeting time is 9:00 a.m.

For more information about the Sandy Springs Design Review Board, contact Fulton County Senior Planner Betsy Stark, 404-730-8050, betsy.stark@co.fulton.ga.us.
