Sandy Springs Plans and Studies

SSRI originally formed to carry out community improvement projects based upon the Sandy Springs Revitalization Plan. The plan, funded by Fulton County in 1992 and adopted by the Board of Commissioners in 1993, defined a development policy for the area and aims to improve the appearance, function and economic health of the Roswell Road business district, alleviate traffic congestion and preserve residential neighborhoods. Since then SSRI, working with the Atlanta Regional Commission and Fulton County, has undertaken additional studies to focus on those areas of interest.
