Public Education: Sandy Springs is served by the Fulton County School System, which has received national recognition for its outstanding educational programs. The four elementary schools serve students in kindergarten through fifth grade, while two middle schools serve grades six through eight. There are two high schools in Sandy Springs, both of which offer magnet programs for students interested in concentrated studies. North Springs High School offers Arts & Sciences Magnet, while Riverwood High hosts the districts International Studies Magnet.
